about me.
As a therapist, my intention is to support you — in making space for yourself, strengthening your inner knowing, and enlivening your sense of curiosity — even in the midst of life’s toughest challenges. My hope is that our work together will invite you to return home to yourself.
I am licensed to practice in New York State, after graduating from Columbia University’s School of Social Work. I have over 10 years of experience as a movement instructor/facilitator and prior to my work as a therapist, I started Breakfast4Dinner, a copywriting and project management business.
Movement — and its capacity to move us — is what brought me into this space. I believe in the restorative and regenerative power of play, spending my time, in and out of session, making space for play in my life and in the lives of others.
My Approach
My approach integrates many techniques and my belief is that there are many ways in. I reference evidenced-based and somatic-oriented therapies to work with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, relational challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, career/school concerns, perfectionism and people pleasing tendencies.
Pleasure, play, and joy are integral to my practice. This work is difficult and will require you to challenge yourself deeply; where can we soften and make space for joy? Our time together will encourage you explore the full spectrum of emotion – reconnecting you to your joy, your intuitive sense of play, and most importantly, to yourself.
Together and with your lead, we will discover what moves you.
